Too many basements in our area are either sitting unfinished — concrete walls, exposed joists, wasted square footage — or were "finished" by a previous owner with paneling nailed to the studs, no permits, and electrical that wouldn't pass an inspection today. We've seen what happens when finishing is done over moisture, without egress, or without permits: it all has to come out, and the homeowner pays twice.
We started this business to be the company that does it right the first time: verify the basement is dry, pull the permits, build to code, and finish the space like the rest of the house — not like a basement.
How We Work
Free, honest estimates. We walk your basement, talk through what you want the space to become, and give you a straight read on what's possible, what it takes, and what it costs. If your basement isn't ready to finish — moisture, structural issues, ceiling height that won't work — we'll tell you that before quoting a dollar of finishing work.
Dry first, finish second. We verify every basement is dry before finishing begins. If it isn't, our sister company Baseline Waterproofing handles the waterproofing side — same ownership, same standard of honesty.
Permitted and inspected. We pull the permits your village requires and build to pass framing, electrical, plumbing, and final inspections. Unpermitted basement work is a resale problem waiting to happen; we don't do it.
One contractor, every trade. Design, permits, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, drywall, flooring, trim, and paint — coordinated by us, so you deal with one phone number.
Clean, respectful crews. Floor protection on the way down, dust control during the work, and a thorough cleanup when we're done. We treat your home the way we'd want ours treated.
